WHAT IS THE FALMOUTH RUNNING CLUB (FRC) GP?

The Club GP awards points for active participation at official club sessions including Tuesday’s club runs, Thursday’s coached sessions, and Saturday’s social runs. Details for these sessions will be shared with all club members via the weekly email, the members WhatsApp group or the FRC Facebook page.

Representing the club at other events? Points are also awarded at official Park Runs and races you enter as a Falmouth Running Club member.

Prizes mean points too. Gain a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place or in the age categories or team places and you will be awarded points too.

You don’t have to run to be awarded points, go along to these races as a club supporter or a marshal and you will gain points as well.

To gain points you need to fill in the weekly attendance registers which will be out on a Tuesday club night at the Cricket Club. If you have been racing, make sure we know which race and how far it was, more miles mean more points.

At the end of the year (the club GP runs from December – November) all the points are tallied and at the Annual Christmas Party we reward the top five female and male.
